As Owner and Lead Planner of Marquette Avenue Events, Brianne embarked on her professional event planning career in 2004. Spanning over a decade in the business, her skill set is as diverse as her clientele who range from government agencies, nonprofits and corporations to individuals from every walk of life, including high profile executives, internationally acclaimed musicians and couples from a wide variety of cultural and religious backgrounds.
Brianne was born and raised in Chicago, IL, graduated with Honors from the University of Iowa with a BA in Communication Studies and a concentration in Public Relations. She also completed extensive coursework in Oenology and received an Intermediate Certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) which serves her clients very well in wine tastings and menu pairings. In her spare time, she enjoys the road less traveled for inspiration, music of countless genres, quality time with family and friends, interval training, volunteering and cooking.
Marquette Avenue Events was founded by Brianne Garritano in 2011 offering a truly customized approach to planning and aligning the needs of her unique clientele with a deep network of event partners for the best possible fit. Her expertise is vast and not only includes wedding planning but also conference coordination and management, fundraisers, event strategy and logistics consulting, on-site production, as well as boutique planning services for galas and private parties. From coordinating events of 1500+ attendees, all the way to intimate affairs of 50, Brianne is equipped with a strong knowledge base and artistic vision to make every experience for her clients exquisitely styled, timeless and executed flawlessly. She is known for her devout work ethic, strong detail-orientation, successful client and vendor relationships - over a decade in the making, as well as her resolute ability to deliver an exceptional product and experience with every project she embarks upon.
